A meeting of the Executive Board of the Angleton Alumni Association was held on 4-8-10. Members of the Executive Board were thanked for their continuing involvement and support of the Association. The Association was impacted by the loss of Larry Townsend (Membership Chairman) and Sue Willy (Secretary) who both passsed away last year. They have been sorely missed.

I am pleased to announce that some additional alumni have stepped forward to work with the Angleton Alumni Association.

At the Executive Board Meeting of the Angleton Alumni Association on 4-8-10, the following were added to new positions:

Murphy Rankin (AHS Class of 1967) was elected to Membership Chairman.
Katie Jacobson Clegg (AHS Class of 1969) was elected Secretary.
Luther Goff (AHS Class of 1967) agreed to work with Murphy as a member of the Membership Committee.

There are several upcoming events that involve Angleton Alumni and having these additions to the Executive Board of the Association will allow the Association to better support them.

I announced that I have accepted a work assignment that will require me to be in Wyoming for the next several months, therefore, I am excited and grateful that the entire Executive Board including the new additions are committed to carrying forward the work of the Association.

With me being out of the area for the next several months, Murphy has agreed to take the lead in the local work of the Association and he will be sending out announcements about several upcoming events and activities that involve Angleton Alumni.

As I stated above, I am grateful for the Angleton Alumni who have stepped forward to work with the Association and I am excited about the upcoming events and activities that I expect all Angleton Alumni will enjoy.

Welcome Angleton Alumni The Angleton Alumni Association has elected officers for the New Year. Annual dues are $10.00 per alumni or $15.00 per couple and are due in September of each year.
